Why Don’t I Teach Macros?
Plain and simple – I’ve NEVER counted macros
Yep, that’s it. Sure, I can give you your estimated macros but beyond that, nope, I’m not going to teach you macro counting because I’ve never practiced it myself.
Why I’ve Never Counted Macros?
- I thrive off my current practice of eating intuitively
- I like listening to my internal cues like hunger, fullness, or satiety
- I personally don’t want to eat for external, quantitative reasons
Is counting macros bad? Heck no! I know some amazing coaches that practice it and teach it and some incredible friends who thrive off it.
Takeaway
It’s important to find what works best for YOU! Just because someone else is doing it or just because it’s all the rage at your gym, doesn’t mean it’s best for YOU and YOUR body.
