Our motto? Take it step-by-step. We’re all on a different journey and nutrition doesn’t look exactly the same for any two people. To build sustainable healthful eating habits, you need a personalized approach and a deep-dive into the root causes of your concerns.

Do you want to go plant-based but aren’t sure you can commit the time you think you need to give it a proper go? Don’t worry, I’ve got you!
Time is precious and it can also be a reason not to try out new things. So, I don’t want it to stand in the way of your plant-based journey. This is why I’ve created these 5 tips that can help you kickstart your new plant-based life.
1. Meet yourself where you’re at
We all come from different places and food also plays a different role in our lives. Maybe you’ve tried plant-based before or perhaps it’s quite a big step for you. That’s OK. Check-in with yourself to see where you’re at currently and where you want to be in the future. What small steps can you take to get to your goal? And keep in mind, you’re committed to who you are becoming, not who you have been and how you’ve eaten in the past.
Let’s not beat around the bush here, cooking can be time-consuming – and maybe it’s not even an enjoyable activity for you. So why not allow someone else to do the work for you? Even though meal delivery services can be a bit pricey, they can be an investment towards where you want to be in the future. If money is a limiting factor, however, you could try meal prepping, which can save you both a ton of time and money.
3. Equip your kitchen with frozen foods
Whether it is frozen ingredients or pre-made meals, all of these are staples for a speedy meal. You don’t need to prep any ingredients or chop any veggies, it’s already been done for you. It’s also great to just have some frozen meals on hand for those days when time just gets away from you.
4. Have your groceries delivered
You can literally get lost in a grocery store. Reading labels to check for animal-based ingredients, looking for the right aisle – sounds familiar? But you can save some time doing that online. Often, you’re able to just filter for vegan foods and be more efficient that way. It also allows you to not waste money by doing any impulse purchases. Plus, you can use certain pockets of time to grocery shop online and do it at a time that is convenient for you.
5. Ask for help!
Whether you’re looking for advice from a family member in the kitchen or hiring a coach or dietitian to help you turn this dream into reality, it’s okay to lean on others. You don’t need to be doing this by yourself!
