So you want to know what “quick fix” there is to weight loss? The real secret? THERE ISN’T ONE. And the sooner you accept that and start making small, but sustainable changes with your diet and lifestyle, the sooner you will be on the right path the achieving your goals.
Whatever you set out to achieve, whether you’re wanting to eat more plant-based or trying to get stronger in the gym, remember, it’s going to take time, energy, consistency, and hard work.⠀
⠀
Despite what the media wants you to think. Despite the 20 people on your Instagram feed that want to sell you their “keto protein powder” or “fat-burning pill”. It’s not sexy or flashy. There’s no secret sauce or magic pill. No instant gratification when it comes to your health and fitness.⠀Which is why it is so difficult for people to achieve. We crave that instant satisfaction, that immediate dopamine rush. That’s what reinforces behaviors. But when we don’t see the results after a week of really hard work we tend to give up because we just don’t see the return on investment. But I’m here to tell you that YOU WILL. If there’s one word that encompasses what it takes to successfully achieve your health and fitness goals it’s this:
CONSISTENCY.
It’s a never-ending journey of putting in the reps day after day. Every little decision you make adds up to big results over time. So take it one baby step at a time, one decision at a time, and before you know it you’ll see the results you’re looking for.
Eating more plants can come with its challenges. There’s a lot of nutrition noise out there, everyone has an opinion, and it can be confusing to figure out what works best for YOU. Working through these challenges and learning how to easily incorporate more plant-based foods into your diet and lifestyle can be helpful. Working with a plant-based dietitian to guide you through your unique journey and surrounding yourself with other like-minded people who are on a similar journey can be monumental. When you join my nutrition coaching program, you’ll get a highly customized, one-on-one experience to help you confidently and sustainably eat foods that taste good and make you feel good.
