It’s been a while now since restaurants, gyms, and offices closed down and we were all forced to revamp our lifestyles from within the confines of our homes. It can be tricky being at home with distractions, unlimited access to the kitchen, and no real reason to put pants on in the morning. As most of us try to create a new normal working from home, here are some ideas to add structure to your day..
1. Try to stick to your regular scheduled bed time as if you were going into work every day.
2. Set boundaries and limit multi-tasking. Do house chores when you’d usually do house chores.
3. Schedule time for meals and movement away from your desk. If you have a phone meeting, consider taking a walk or stand up during it to break up your day.
4. Make a plan each day and stick to regularly scheduled work hours. Clock in and clock out like you would if you were going to work.
Eating more plants can come with its challenges. There’s a lot of nutrition noise out there, everyone has an opinion, and it can be confusing to figure out what works best for YOU. Working through these challenges and learning how to easily incorporate more plant-based foods into your diet and lifestyle can be helpful.
Working with a plant-based dietitian to guide you through your unique journey and surrounding yourself with other like-minded people who are on a similar journey can be monumental. When you join my nutrition coaching program, you’ll get a highly customized, one-on-one experience to help you confidently and sustainably eat foods that taste good and make you feel good.
